Many working pros are intrigued by the Sony Alpha offering – full-frame mirrorless cameras that are more than meeting the demands of full-time professional photographers. Brent and I loaned some Sony kit for a month and it resulted in a full-scale switch after testing it across weddings, portraits, boudoir, and some commercial shoots.
Reading specs and reviews is interesting but nothing beats using a system and testing features such as Eye AF and the electronic silent shutter yourself. This is why we have organised the Sony days to allow people to experience the Sony Alpha system for themselves.
In the morning we will run through the menu system and explain features such as:
• Sony Customisation
• The Autofocus System
• Eye AF (+ new update coming out very soon)
• Face Detection and Registration
• Focus Magnifier
• The Dual Shutter System
Following lunch, which will be provided, we will head into the grounds with a bride and groom and allow you to have a go at shooting the Sony system. We will also present Profoto B10’s & A1’s with flash and continues light scenarios common to wedding photographers.
Spaces are limited to 20 per day for the 3 days.
